You’ve got to walk through every chapter

“Still Becoming at 5:45 A.M.“

 

 

 

Hell, I couldn’t sleep.

My first pulse was at 4:30.

Now it’s 5:45 and the alarm’s about to go off in 15 minutes…

but I’m already up.

That’s life sometimes 

your mind wakes you before the clock does.

Politics on your mind.

Business on your shoulders.

Love in your chest.

And purpose tugging at your spirit.

Life don’t ever let you skip the parts that shape you.

You’ve got to walk through every chapter 

even the ones that feel too heavy to hold,

even the pages you wish you could turn faster.

Some chapters crush you.

Some wake you up.

But every one of them teaches you who you are

and who you’re becoming.

People see the man I am today 

the wine, the gardens, the work, the grind 

but they don’t know the nights like this.

The quiet battles.

The tired thoughts.

The early-morning honesty.

But the Creator has a way of taking a cracked beginning

and turning it into a story of strength.

Turning mistakes into wisdom.

Turning pain into purpose.

Turning survival into testimony.

And even now even at 5:45 a.m.  I’m still in motion:

I’m still writing.

I’m still growing.

I’m still becoming.

I’m still parenting.

I’m still farming.

I’m still learning.

I’m still running.

I’m still planting seeds.

I’m still making wine.

And I’m still growing  inside and out.

My life is proof that the story ain’t over.

Not today.

Not tomorrow.

Not ever.

Keep turning your pages.

Keep believing in your chapters.

Keep trusting your author.
